Times of India Report According to , the Analog Research Station is a facility where important work related to the Moon and Mars can be done. For example, how to build houses for astronauts on the Moon and Mars can be tested in Ladakh. The reason for this is the geological condition of Ladakh, which is hard. According to the report, during research in Ladakh, scientists will also be able to test how microorganisms react in difficult weather.
Scientists who identified Ladakh include Binita Fartyal of BSIP and Alok Kumar and Shubhanshu Shukla of IISc. All of them have done this research together. Research is also important because India is preparing for new missions to Mars and the Moon. He wants to land his astronauts on the moon by the year 2040.
Indian researchers believe that the unique geographical features of Ladakh are very similar to the conditions of Mars and the Moon. This area is quite cold. Like a dry desert. There are rocks here and at some places the texture of the land is also similar.
It is not yet known when the analog research station will be ready. The report says that by building such a facility, India can accelerate its space missions and moon missions.
