NASA Shares Pic Of World’s Most Remote Inhabited Island Tristan da Cunha

NASA has shared the photo of this island on Instagram. An aerial view of this island can be seen in the photo. This is a remote island. It consists of a group of three small islands. Islands are visible in dark color. The shape of Tristan da Cunha Island is circular in appearance. Its peak looks white. Below which the area is visible in light green color and going down it becomes dark green. They are surrounded by the deep blue sea.

NASA said that this island is in the area between South America and Africa. The least settlement is seen on this island. More birds than humans live here. This island is in the southern Atlantic Ocean. There is dense sea grass all around them. Sea grass called Macrocystis pyrifera is found here, which is the fastest growing seaweed on the planet.

According to NASA, these photos of Tristan da Cunha Island were taken in May last year. These were actually used for survey of forests. These photos of remote islands shared by NASA show that there are still many places on Earth that are cut off from the rest of the world. Not much information is available about them yet. NASA often shares such pictures on its Instagram handle.
