Infinix HOT 30 5G smartphone was launched in India on Friday, July 14. The smartphone has been introduced in the budget segment. The smartphone is the successor to the HOT 20 5G launched last year and brings some upgrades over it.

The company has provided the recently launched MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC in the new smartphone, which is also present in the recently launched Realme Narzo 60 5G smartphone in the sub-Rs 30,000 category.

In this, the edges are slightly less curved than the previous model and the camera module has been given a glass finish. The company says that it has a glass finish design and the frame is equipped with chrome finish. The major change on the front of the HOT 30 5G compared to the waterdrop style notch present on the HOT 20 is the presence of a hole-punch cutout.

Weighing in at 215 grams, the smartphone feels a bit heavy in comparison. At the same time, with a thickness of 9.9mm, it is also thicker than some of its bigger competitors in the market. HOT 30 5G comes with a 6.38-inch full-HD+ IPS display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 580 nits peak brightness. There is a hole-punch cutout in the top center of the display. The camera supports face unlock. Additionally, the smartphone has received Widevine L1 certification, which means it should support HDR content on most content streaming apps. The company says that it has been provided with DRE (Dark Region Enhancement) feature, which will make it easier to read text on the display even in sunlight. The smartphone works on XOS 13 version based on Android 13. The smartphone has a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup equipped with AI. In this, each sensor is fitted in a large ring shaped housing and on its side there is a flash module with quad LED. Infinix claims that the phone is capable of providing 53 hours of calling or 21 hours of video streaming or 13 hours of gaming or 35 days of standby time on a full charge.

The smartphone comes equipped with NFC support, storage expansion up to 1TB, dual-band Wi-Fi, IP53 rating, DTS technology, ambient light sensor, e-compass, G-sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor, etc.
