There is no need to be too surprised, because this ‘second moon’ is an asteroid, which has been named 2024 PT5. It is being called the second moon because the asteroid will continue to revolve near our Earth for the next few months.

It is a belt made of space rocks, which is at an average distance of about 150 million kilometers from the Sun in an orbit about the same size as the Earth’s orbit.

Although he was blasted into space. Regarding 2024 PT5, it is estimated that it is unlikely to collide with the Earth. It will orbit about 42 lakh kilometers away from our planet.

2024 PT5 will not be visible with the naked eye. A telescope will be required to see this. Because it got pulled due to Earth’s gravity, scientists are also calling this asteroid a caught fly.
