CERT Warning: A major problem is appearing in the web browser Mozilla Firefox. India’s Cyber Security Agency (Cyber Security) Computer Emergency Rescue Team (CERT) recently issued a warning for the Mozilla Firefox web browser and warned users. CERT-In said that by exploiting these flaws, hackers and fraudsters can steal confidential information from your computer (Web Browser). This same problem is also seen in older versions of Firefox, Thunderbird Email and ESR versions.
The Cyber Security Agency has issued a warning in this regard. Versions older than Firefox 131, Thunderbird 128.3 and 131, Firefox ESR 128.3 and 115.16 now have increased vulnerability. Attacks by hackers can increase in such web browsers. Hackers can exploit these flaws to steal your information. Fraudsters can hijack your device’s security. Even through fake websites, hackers can easily steal confidential information from your computer or laptop.

According to CERT-In, hackers can easily trap you by downloading fake files to your computer or laptop. You can also put your own system at risk with clickjacking. CERT-In advises Firefox and Thunderbird users to update their search engines immediately to protect themselves. Hackers can cause a denial of service (DoS) by sending multiple web transport requests to your system. It will not work if your system is hacked. You can no longer work on it in any way.
Update the software like this
To update the software, first go to the Help section from the Mozilla Firefox menu box. Then click on About Firefox or About Birdbird option. Download and install the update here. You will see a green check mark when the update is complete. Then you can work safely in the browser, the risk is also reduced a lot.
