By analyzing the data received from them, scientists discovered the gamma-ray spectrum line. According to the report, this success will help scientists in uncovering the secrets of gamma-ray bursts and the powerful jets associated with them.

It is noteworthy that two years ago, Indian scientists had also detected a similar explosion. Scientists from Nainital-based Aryabhatta Research Institute of Environmental Sciences (ARIES), along with scientists from Rome, discovered a major cosmic explosion that occurred at a distance of 1 billion light years. The Gamma Ray Burst or GRB they detected occurred 1 billion light years away from Earth.

The explosion was discovered by Aries’ DOT telescope and the study was published in Nature.com.
