BSNL SIM Card: There is intense competition in the telecom world now. Airtel, Jio and Vodafone have increased the recharge plan prices a few months ago. And since then, the direction of people’s needs has turned towards the domestic state-owned telecom company BSNL (BSNL SIM Card). BSNL’s subscriber base has also grown by leaps and bounds in three months. But this time BSNL went one step further. This company is going to bring new technology. Now you can call without SIM card, you will get service even if there is no network. BSNL is going to launch direct to device satellite service in collaboration with satellite communication company Viasat.

Through this direct to device technology, mobile phones, smart watches, transport operators, cars etc. can get terrestrial and satellite coverage without any satellite connection hardware. Trials of this particular technology have been completed recently. In this trial, Viasat demonstrated two-way messaging and SOS messaging by enabling non-terrestrial connectivity using a commercial Android smartphone. By sending a message from one place it reached Viasat’s Geo Stationary satellite 36 thousand kilometers away with the help of this technology. And this test proves that satellite-to-cellphone connectivity will be possible for Indian consumers. By using Viasat’s satellite network, these telecom operators will also be able to grow their business.

Mainly in remote areas where the network is not available well, or if there is a problem in the network due to natural disasters or other reasons, through this direct to device technology, the phone can be continuously connected. In areas where the network is not yet well-developed, BSNL’s service will bring many benefits to its customers. Sandeep Murthy, chief technical officer of Viasat, said that this direct-to-device technology will remove all obstacles in the field of satellite connectivity. In the coming days, this will benefit the production and supply chain in India.
