Xiaomi The Redmi series has received a lot of discussion due to its great feature in the last few years. The Redmi model became the most special due to low price and better features and other Chinese companies could also compete with them hardly. Perhaps due to this rivalry, a few years ago, you can now buy a lot of budget smartphones with great features in the market.

After strong components and low prices, now manufacturers have started focusing on the design, look and premium of the device to attract customers. Now companies are using metal body instead of plastic in smartphones. Recently launched Honor 5X And LE Eco LE OneS I was also given a metal body. Coolpad Note 3 With the 3 GB RAM given in these budget smartphones, fingerprint sensor is also being given like a special feature.

The special thing is that after the Redmi 2 series, Xiaomi now Redmi Note 3 Has launched at the right time. The first glimpse of this smartphone was seen in December, however, the phone was given a MediaTek processor in the original variant of the phone, while the Redmi Note 3 launched in India has Qualcomm chipset. Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime Like the Redmi Note 3 will also be a Made in India smartphone.

Two biggest rival of Redmi Note 3 Lenovo Vibe’s 4 Note And LEECO LE OneS Are. Will this smartphone of Xiaomi be able to register its presence in a category smartphone less than 15,000? Let’s see what we saw in the review of this phone.

Look and design
The Redmi Note 3 is very beautiful in appearance and in gold color it gives you a feeling of a premium smartphone. This phone made of metal body has been given a matte finish. It is also easy to keep this smartphone clean by removing dust and dirt easily.

The front of the smartphone has a 5.5 -inch full HD IPS display. The design of the display is good but it looks a bit strange on the ear while calling. The display is equipped with a scratch resistant layer. There is a 5 mogapixel camera with a notification LED for alert on the top. It is good to have backlight in the capacitive button given at the bottom. On the right side there are volume and power buttons while on the left have a hybrid dual-sim tray. The upper part also has an infrared (IR) Ameter with a headphone socket. For data transfer and charging, standard micro-USB connectors can be used in smartphones.

The rear has a speaker grill at the bottom with fingerprint sensor, dual LED flash and 16 megapixel camera. You will get Redmi Note 3 10 Watt Charger, Data Cable, SIM Projector Tool and Instruction Liflet. During the review, we liked the quality of accessory and hope that it will accompany you well.

We feel that Xiaomi has made the design of this phone very good. The phone’s finish is extremely spectacular and the display is also very clean and shiny. The colors in the IPS panel are absolutely enhanced. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a sunlight display hardware feature of Xiaomi, so that you can easily see the screen in sunlight.

It is convenient to hold the phone in hand. Although the phone can be a bit difficult to use with one hand, but it is just 8.7 millimeters thin and extremely light.

Specification
Even though the price of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 budget smartphone is low, the hardware given in this phone is not less than a premium smartphone. This is the first phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. Like Snapdragon 808, the Moto X style was given a hexa-core processor but instead of Cortex-A57, it has a 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72. The second four core is Cortex A-53 with 1.4 GHz. However, the phone has a new Andreno 510 GPU for graphics.

The Redmi Note 3 will be found in two variants. We have 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants for review, but if your budget is low then you can choose 2 GB RAM 16 GB storage variants for a price of Rs 9,999. The storage of this variant can be increased to 32 GB with the help of microSD card instead of the second SIM card in the hybrid SIM slot. Nowadays, where most of the phone has a stores support of up to 128 GB or more, the Redmi Note 3 remains a little behind there.

Equipped with Qualcomm chipset, this phone has a category 7 LTE feature for 3, 5, 40 and 41 bands with VoLTE support. Along with this, there is a dual-band Wi-Fi B/G/N/AC, Bluetooth 4.1, USB OTG, FM Radio, Meerakast, Glonas. NFC feature is not provided in this phone.

Software
The phone comes with Android Lollipop Fork called MIUI 7. MIUI 7 has certainly improved much better than the old and 4 people of MIUI. It has a single layer interface but users can customize it with transition effects and theme according to their own.

The lock screen of the phone has a wallpaper craw water feature, which keeps appearing different wallpapers from the collection selected by the user. There is also a light mode for easy and simple interfaces. Along with this, there is also child mode to control children on application.

Fingerprint can identify up to 5 fingerprints. Xiaomi’s Vice President Hugo Bara made a statement during the phone launch that you can do your lip pattern in the phone but we failed during the attempt to do so.

Apart from this, you can get cloud storage up to 5 GB for your contacts, messages, photos etc. by signing up in Mi account. By using the Explorer app, you can also take the help of fingerprint sensor authentication to hide your personal chat, message.

The Mi Mover App in the phone comes in advance, with the help of which you can transfer app and data from another Android device. MIUI supports 7 13 indic languages.

Performance
The hardware and software of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 give you a great experience. We did not see any problem in the interface during multitasking. The call quality of the phone is good.

During our review, stability was seen except during the benchmark test, the phone was rebooted several times. The phone does not heat up during continuous video playback and video recording nor does it feel uncomfortable.

The bad thing we saw is that it takes too much time to work together for two sim together. We did not see this problem during single sim, but when we put it in another SIM phone, it took a long time to detect it. At that time we got to see ‘No Service’ messages for more than 10 minutes. We did not get any help even after rebooting the phone. If you change most of SIMs in the phone, then it may be a problem for you or else it will not make you any difference. The fingerprint sensor in the phone works well and it runs fast even after opening the phone lock.

The Redmi Note 3 is a great phone for multimedia due to a crisp display. The audio speaker is good. The music player works well and you can switch between two different audio profiles using two different earphones. Mi drops can share instant media in second Xiaomi device from Mi drop. In 32 GB version, users will be able to use only 26.2 GB.

Camera
The Redmi Note 3 smartphone has a 16 megapixel sensor camera with wide F/2.0 aperture. We were able to take a picture with good details in landscape and macro shot in daylight. Color reproduction is also good. However, the object in the focus did not show much sharpness when zoom is very much. Pictures looked very good in the phone’s display.

During the artificial lighting, the pictures taken from the camera saw some trouble in sharpness and depth. Even in low light, pictures are not very bad. Dual tone LED fly, works well for a nearby object but do not keep too much expectations from it. The 1080p video recordings are good but the video recording did not see stability due to no stabilization software. The front camera brings good selfie in daylight with wide F/2.0 aperture.

battery life
With the 4050 mAh battery given in the phone, we could play the video for 12 hours and 21 minutes continuously. The phone’s battery went on for more than a day without turning on battery saving mode. The phone is equipped with Qualcomm’s Qual Charge feature but we were able to charge only 20 percent of the Redmi Note 3 in half an hour. We will not call it super quick charge but it is better to do anything than nothing.

Our decision
The price of 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage variants of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is Rs 9,999 and 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage is priced at Rs 11,999. All these specifications at this price make it very special. Xiaomi has partnered the user with ‘Hungama’ for streaming service of 2 months free subscription.

It is very difficult to remove anything in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. The metal body and fingerprint sensor given in the Redmi Note 3, launched in 2016, have been given for the first time in the Xiaomi device. The phone has a display, powerful battery and processor. The camera is also not bad, however, its photographs could have been sharpness and HD quality video. We could expect more than 32 GB of storage in the phone and when NFC support, it could become a complete package phone.

If you keep some things aside, then we feel that Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 can easily fit the best smartphone available in the market today. If you want to choose between Redmi Note 3 and LE VanS, then our vote will definitely go to Redmi Note 3.
