Social Media: This app is said to be deleted in these countries even though it has immense faith in WhatsApp in India. After Iran (Iran), this powerful country of the world also turned his face from WhatsApp. But is it not safe to use this social media app anymore?

Which country has taken this decision
The report says new concerns over WhatsApp in the United States now. The US Parliament ‘House of Representatives’ has ordered the removal of WhatsApp from all government devices for security reasons. The decision was made keeping in mind the information privacy and cyber security. An official statement on Monday provided information about this decision to all the employees of Parliament.

Why this decision is America
The Cyber Security Office, working under the House Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), has warned that WhatsApp user is not transparent about data protection and has several security defects. For this reason, it has been considered as a “high-risky app”.

You also need to move WhatsApp from your mobile and desktop
The CAO has directed that WhatsApp will be completely removed not only from mobile phones but also from desktops and web browser. It has also been said that the devices that have been found in WhatsApp will also be uninstalled. As an alternative, employees are advised to use safe apps such as signals, Microsoft Tims, Wicker, Apple’s Imesage and FaceTime. They have also been asked to be careful of the message and phishing attacks from unknown numbers.

Meta has strongly opposed this decision
However, WhatsApp’s main company Meta has strongly opposed the decision. Meta’s spokesperson Andy Stone says that WhatsApp has end-to-end encryption by default, so that only the sender and the receiver can read the messages, not WhatsApp itself. He also claimed that most apps on the CAO approved app do not have this security feature. Meta has hoped that members of the US parliament will be able to use WhatsApp again in the future, as it is happening in the Senate.

Iran also walks the same way
Note that in January, Israeli Spyware Company ‘Paragon Solutions’ has targeted several journalists and civil rights activists through WhatsApp. It has already questioned the app safety.

What a deadly complaint
Also, Iran has recently advised its citizens to delete WhatsApp. It was alleged that the app was leaked through the location that could reach the Israeli army. However, Meta has called these allegations completely baseless.

In this way, both the United States and Iran have taken action on their own level by considering WhatsApp suspicious from a security point of view. This time, the app’s privacy over again has intensified.
