Cyber Fraud: Cyber fraud is increasing in Digital India. Recently, the fraudsters are getting a new cheating trap in WhatsApp. This scam of WhatsApp is the name Blur Image Scam.
This new fraud is playing with your emotions. Once you are trapped, you will be the victim of fraud. This scam will send you a vague picture of the scammers. So that your bank account will be empty if you set foot. Scammers will hack your device.
In this trap, scammers will send you vague pictures to WhatsApp from an unknown number. A message is written with that photo. Which will greatly enhance your curiosity. It is sending messages like “Is this your old photo?”, “Are you in this?” Just look! “,” Look who is this … “.
After reading this type of message, most people will click on it to open that picture! As you click you will send you a fake link. This is where the fraudsters are trapped in the trap.
Through this link you will take you to a fake website. You are asked for OTP, bank details or personal information. Sometimes this link also installs a virus or malware on your phone.
With this scandal, money can be gone from your bank account. Social media accounts such as WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram can be hacked. Personal photos or data can be stolen. Your phone may be infected by virus or spyware.
Keep the two-sight verification on. Place a good anti-virus app install on your phone. When you click the mistake, change the password immediately and inform the bank.
