After launching the earth, the Aditya-L1 space observator will be transported to a halo orbit around the Lagrange Point-1 (L-1) of the Sun-Earth system. This class is about 1.5 million kilometers from the Earth. Arriving at that point means that observations will always be able to keep an eye on the Sun. Aditya L-1 mission will work for solar activities and space weather. The data will be sent to ISRO, so that it will be easy to assess whether the earth is not in any trouble due to the sun!
According to the ANI report, after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3, ISRO chief while addressing a press conference said that everything is going on as per the plan and possibly the Aditya L-1 mission will be launched in the first week of September.
‘Aditya’ will reach the floor in 120 days
S. Somnath said that after launch, ‘Aditya’ L-1 spacraft will go to an oval orbit and complete his journey from there. It will take 120 days to reach the lagrange point-1 (L-1). Remember that during this time the spacecraft will cover a distance of 1.5 million kilometers. Chandrayaan-3 took 41 days to reach the moon and he traveled some more than 3 lakh kilometers.
