Universe Big Bang: When did our universe begin? Till now scientists have believed that the universe must have taken shape after the event of Big Bang. But a recent study has reached a different conclusion. Published in Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics research It has been said that ‘mysterious life’ may have existed in the universe even before the Big Bang. If this proves to be true in the future, then scientists’ understanding of the universe, especially black holes and dark matter, may change. One implication of this study is that the universe did not begin with the Big Bang.

of ndtv Report According to, till now cosmologists have believed that the universe began with an event called Big Bang. The new study says that our universe went through a phase of contraction before the Big Bang. Then it expanded. The study says that these changes played a role in the formation of black holes and dark matter even before the Big Bang. Dark matter makes up about 80 percent of the matter in our universe.

The study revealed that during the contraction of the universe, small black holes could have been formed due to fluctuations in its density. Perhaps these black holes remained and because of them dark matter was created. Patrick Peter of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) has said that small black holes may have been born in the early stages of the universe and they may still exist.

Researchers hope that in the future, instruments and telescopes like gravitational waves like Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) will give new information about these black holes. This discovery also supports the theory that black holes are considered dark matter. This research is still in its initial stages.
