media reports According to, the Falcon 9 rocket took off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Thursday night last week. He was carrying 20 Starlink satellites with him. About an hour after takeoff, the rocket’s second stage failed to restart and all the Starlink satellites went into an Earth orbit from where they could not be brought back to their destination. Falcon-9 will be able to fly only after testing
According to the report, SpaceX now has to investigate why the Falcon-9 rocket failed. After fixing the rocket, it will have to get approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Till then the rocket will not be flown i.e. it will remain on the ground. It is being told that this situation may take a few weeks or months to correct.
The Falcon-9 rocket is one of SpaceX’s most successful rockets. It has successfully flown more than 300 missions so far. Many countries and companies of the world have flown their missions with the help of Falcon-9 rocket. Elon Musk has said that SpaceX is updating the software of Starlink satellites to force their on-board thrusters to fire louder than usual. It is noteworthy that the Falcon-9 rocket could not lift the Starlink satellites from the place where they were launched.
