Look and design
Although many mid -range smartphones do not have a special essential appeal, but the Vibe S1 manages to make its own identity. Its frame is of metal. The phone is available in blue and white color. We got a blue colored handset for review and we liked it.
The vibe S1 comes with curved back, for this reason it looks more slim on the edges. The layout is common. Power and volume buttons are on the right side. USB port and speaker grill at the bottom. The sim tray is on the left and the audio socket on top.
There is a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and backpanel of the phone. Like OnePlus X, its rear portion is reflective and you will like it. Lenvo has not tampered with the design profile. Nothing has tried to do so piercing the eyes.
The front panel is also very clean. There is no logo. If you appear on it, then only three capacitive buttons which are not backlit. This is a huge flaw of its design. The screen is on 68 per cent of the front panel, the dual-front camera is present on the right side. The dual-camera setup has a primary sensor of 8 megapixels and the depth-sensor 2 megapixels.

Despite this, it is one of the best full-HD screens we used. It is very bright, for this reason there is no problem in using the handset in sunlight. Despite being a mid-range device, the Vibe S1 is excellent in the Department of Specification. It has a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT 6752 chipset, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB inbuilt storage, microSD card support (up to 128 GB), 2420 mAh battery and 4G LTE support. The Labo Vibe S1 has a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash. Its front part has a dual-camera setup. The primary front camera is 8 megapixels and gets it with a 2-megapixel sensor, which determines the depth-off field. With the front and rear camera, you will be able to record videos of full-HD resolution. With the front camera, you can give unique photo effects using the capacity of depth-off field. The camera app is excellent. Many control and features are present. This includes manual settings. You can control resolution in photos and videos. HDR mode, flash and camera switcher can be easily accessed. Video recording is a step process. Along with this you also get Panorama mode. By switching the front camera, you will get the option to activate dual-camera mode. Video recording is not possible in dual camera mode. You will be able to see the dual-camera effect in the gallery itself.
Dual-camera effects are very simple, but also interesting. The depth of field gives the camera the option to fix the foreground and background. For this reason the camera is able to make sure that in which part of the selfie you are present. You can use it to blur the background or you can use a new picture by cutting it. You can superimpose graphics in the background, or you can also apply an old picture. In this way you will be able to take some interesting selfies from the camera. Lenuvo Vibe S1 is effective and capable handset. Call quality is good. Connectivity with 3G and 4G networks will also be considered good. The sound coming from a single speaker is slightly low, but there is no such problem with the headphones. The phone battery lasted for 8 hours 15 minutes in the video loop test. Even after common use, we had to connect the phone to the charger till evening.

As far as the look is concerned, the Lenvo Vibe S1 challenges the handset of double the handset. The Vibe S1 is very sleek and beautiful. And while making it, quality has also been taken care of. Its screen is good. The performance is excellent and it will be equipped with great cameras which will be liked by many selfie fans.
However, the handset also has some shortcomings. Capacitive buttons are not backlit. UI does not entice the eyes too much. Due to the hybrid SIM slot, you have to choose one of the dual-sim connectivity and microSD cards. And battery life will be considered average. Despite this, Lenvo Vibe S1 is a competent smartphone that will entice the fans of camera and selfie. It will also be liked by those who pay attention to the style.
