Look and design
The lava pixel V2 is sharp, straight and simple to look at. The edges of the phone are strong and this phone looks made of ceramic and metal body. However, on a close look, it is found that the rear and shore of the phone are made of plastic but it takes more premiums. The phone is not very bad to see, but in our eyes there is a little shortage in the phone.
The front of the phone is plain and it is also difficult to catch the phone. There is no way to catch the phone in a convenient way and the speaker grill in the phone is also given a strange space. Pixel V2 cannot be said to be bad in any way but it is not very beautiful.
The phone has power and volume buttons on the right side while the bottom is USB port. The 3.5 mm jack is given upwards. The single speaker grill is given at the rear exactly below the lava logo. The camera and flash are given at the top of the rear on the left side. The SIM tray and microSD slot can be seen by removing the rear panel. The battery of the phone can also be seen but it is not removable.
The Pixel V2 has an IPS-LCD panel of 5 inch 720×1280 pixels resolution. The display is sharp but it is not more shiny and detailed. Color reproduction and tone in the display are also not very good. Capital Android buttons are given at the bottom.

The 16 GB internal storage of the phone can be increased to 32 GB with the help of microSD card. The phone comes with dual SIM support and has a separate slot for two SIM cards and a Microsim card. Both SIM slots support India’s 4G bands on India 4G connectivity.
The V2 smartphone has a 2500 mAh non-un-uter-rimwelmal lithium polymer battery. A 5 watt charger comes with the phone.
The Pixel V2 runs on Android 5.1 with which the Lava star OS 2.0 layer is given. Its interface is dual layered with app drawer and a lot of customization options have been given for visual effects. Apart from wallpaper, you can change the normal look and UI of the phone from the icon through three themes. Along with this, screen switch effects and home screens can also be changed for the app.
However, while setting the phone at your convenience, you will also find many problems in this device. The old menu button has been used instead of task switcher in the phone. For this, you have to press the home button for a long time. Changing and removing the home screen of the phone is also not easy. Some quick launch in the phone works well, but overall we found its software very simple.
Camera
Lava Pixel V2 has been introduced in the market like a camera phone. Its dual LED flash equipped with a 13 -megapixel camera has been claimed to have excellent pictures. The phone also has an 8 -megapixel secondary camera for selfie with flash. But a maximum of 720p can be recorded from the rear camera while only 480p videos can be recorded from the front camera.
The camera app of the phone is good and easy to use. You have two button process to record the video. Camera swithers and flash are easily accessible with second mode. Options such as manual settings and resolution control can go to the setting menu. The camera also has many modes like panorama, HDR.
But the quality of photos taken from the phone’s rear camera is average. The photos are not as luxurious as expected. In the pictures, only color and glow can be called satisfactory. The detailing of pictures taken from this price phone is also fine but cannot be said to be great. The pictures taken in the indoor looked quite good. But it could have been better to be taken in daylight. Photos taken from the front camera are also fine according to the phone of this price.
Performance
The MediaTek MT6735 processor given in Lava Pixel V2 sometimes works quite slow, especially while working together on many apps. The phone works well during light games and internet usage. Therefore, the performance of the phone is fine according to the price.

The phone comes with 4G support and does a great job on 4G and Wi-Fi. Sound quality with call quality and headphones is also good. The single speaker is small and weak. The battery life is fine and in our video loop test, the battery supported for 8 hours 11 minutes. At the same time, the battery of the phone ends quickly during simple use, especially (on 4G network) and it is required to be charged by evening.
Our decision
Lava Pixel V2 is a simple smartphone at a low price. The phone’s look is not bad. It supports 4G and the camera is also fine. Different types of pictures can be taken by shooting in several mode with a camera with a front flash.
However, this phone cannot be called completely perfect. The phone has many drawbacks in the phone with the average performance of the phone, poor battery life, average photo and video quality and old UI. But if you are a normal smartphone user and want a good camera then the lava pixel V2 is for you. However, U Euphoria is a better option for users who want more powerful and specified phones.
