A single block of aluminum has been used in this new handset and a metal plate has been given inside to make it rigid. We gave the handset some time and at first we found it solid. The handset is 8.6 mm thick and an attempt has been made to give it a curved look by using straight lines. The phone feels good in the hand and there is no problem while using it.
We got to see this phone in silver, blue and black color variants. There’s a touch of copper-bronze on the borders, buttons and camera bump of all the handsets. It is possible that everyone may not have the same preferences in this matter. A neutral color option should have been given in it. It may suffer a little due to the screen having 16:9 aspect ratio. However, this is not wrong either. Smartphones of all price ranges in the market are coming equipped with 18:9 aspect ratio. Despite the low lighting at the event in Barcelona, we are satisfied with its display and its 5.5-inch screen.
Talking about the previous Nokia 6, there was a complaint about it that the phone was a bit expensive considering the features in its segment. This time, the company has given Snapdragon 630 processor, going above the previous Snapdragon 430. We also liked the user interface of the phone better. The variant we demoed runs on Android 8.1. It has been given security patch of February 2018. We are sure that the company will not delay in giving updates in the coming times.

Our attention is also towards the price of the handset, after which we will know how much ‘lesson’ the company has learned from the previous complaints. After the phone is launched in India, we will also review it in detail.
There is a 16-megapixel camera in the rear of the phone, which is equipped with F/2.0 aperture. Zeiss optics have been used in the camera. Dual tone flash is also included in it. The front camera is of 8 megapixels, there is no advantage of Zeiss in it. Video recording goes up to 4K. We will also explain the quality of the camera in detail after examining it in our review.
