American space agency NASA AccordingSome chemical elements have been found around two protostars named IRAS 2A and IRAS 23385. These include compounds present in margaritas, vinegar and stings found on Earth.
The team of scientists used the MIRI (Mid-Infrared Instrument) of the James Webb Telescope to detect these chemical elements. However, NASA says that due to these elements, the formation of planets around the stars has not yet started. But the molecules found represent the elements essential for life.
NASA says that these molecules can connect with comets and asteroids or become part of a planet in the future. Scientists have also found some other molecules like formic acid, methane, formaldehyde and sulfur dioxide in space. Research shows that sulfur dioxide also played a role in the development of life on Earth billions of years ago.
Scientists are currently examining the data obtained with the help of the Webb Telescope. They do not know whether life will develop from these molecules or not, but if these molecules are involved in the formation of a new planet, then a miracle can happen!
