A post has been shared by the official X page of Mars Curiosity Rover, unveiling the 360 ββdegree view of Mars. It is written in it β This 360 degree view panorama is of Geddes Wallis Channel. Scientists believe that water once flowed on this part of Mars.
This view was recorded on February 1. It was then Curiosity Mars Rover’s 4,084th day on Mars. The rover captured this view using its left black and white navigation camera. The rover clicked 10 pictures, after combining which this 360 degree picture was prepared.
‘Curiosity’ rover has collected many important information after reaching Mars. After analyzing the soil crack patterns seen by the rover, last year scientists came to the conclusion that there was once water on Mars, which evaporated. Scientists also believe that at one time Mars may have been a planet with dry and wet weather cycles, meaning it was habitable.
