According to PTI report, ISRO’s UR Rao Satellite Center (URSC) will organize a space robotics competition. Under this, the youth have been asked to send the idea and design of robotic rivers for Future Mission. ISRO believes that such competitions can develop creative thinking among the youth for inter-planetary missions.

According to the report, in a statement ISRO said that to give opportunities to students in the field of space robotics, ‘ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 (IROC-U2024) will be organized. Its tagline will be
‘Let’s make a space robot’. ISRO has said that the final competition will take place in August 2024 in the Bangalore campus of URSC.
