Look and design
Intex has made a great improvement in the build and the Finnish department. Protection of gorilla glass on smooth, curved edge and front and back panels, cloud flash does not look cheaper than anywhere. Due to the glass, the phones slightly slip in the hands.
The 5 -inch HD AMOLED display is present in the handset. It gives saturated color and the viewing angle is also good. You will get a 5 megapixel sensor on the front panel. Navigation work can be done with an onscreen button. The notification LED is not present in the device.
The volume and power buttons are on the right side. Their response is good. MicroSD card slot and micro-sim tray are present on one side of the handset. There is a mono speaker at the bottom and the headphone socket and charging port are at the top. There is nothing but a 13 -megapixel primary camera and flash on the rear panel.
With the phone you will get charger, data cable, headset, screen guard and manual. Not much can be said in praise for the quality of accessory, but they will definitely stand if they are handled. Due to the backpanel of the glass on the body of the cloud flash, fingers are easily on it.
Specification and software
The hardware present in the Intex Cloud Flash is effective for giving funny Android experience. The handset’s inbuilt storage is 16 GB and it comes with an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. The good thing is that the storage of the handset can be extended with SD card up to 128 GB. Other specifications include both SIM card slots 4G support, Wi-Fi B/G/N, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, FM Radio, GPS and 2300 mAh batteries.
Now talk about software. You will get experience stock Android Lollipop 5.1.1. There are also some gesture features. You will also be able to adjust the display. Many motion and wake gauge are given. This handset has SOS support which is usually not seen. With this help, you will be able to send your location to the emergency contact in any emergency. For this, both buttons of the volume have to be pressed for three seconds.
Performance
Cloud flash is a competent handset. It handles multi -tasking easily during use. The interface is smooth and there is no problem in reading the display in the sunlight. The quality of the call is satisfactory and we have no complaints with network connectivity. Although we did not have to face the problem of getting over the phone, but while using the camera, the phone definitely becomes a little hot.
The octa-core processor gave good results in the benchmark. A loud sound comes from the speaker. This was possible due to improving software in the settings menu. It cannot be called best for music and cinema, but during phone calls and messages it works well. The phone easily drives full-HD video.
The 13 -megapixel rear camera takes good pictures of landscape and macrose in daylight. Details were good in close up shot. However, distant subjects do not look very sharp. The sensor gives good performance in the case of colors, especially in HDR mode. The performance is a bit weak in low light, as the camera app takes more time to save the photo.
The quality of video recording is good. You can focus by tapping during recording. You will find Panorama, live photos, motion tracking and multi angle view mode in the camera app. Most mode works well, except motion tracking. The front camera also works well, but do not expect great quality.
The 2300 mAh battery inside the handset lasted 7 hours 24 minutes in our video loop test. The phone battery in common use had to be charged once again before the end of the day. And it takes more time than the time taken to fully charge.
Decision
Intex cloud flash has no major shortage. This handset has the same flaws that we usually see in other devices of this price range. Except for the average battery life and simple camera performance, this smartphone plays its role well. Intex’s decision on design does not seem correct, as this handset has no distinct identity.
We believe that 3 notes of Lenvo are still a better option in this price range. The reason for this is better display and effective software features.
