Talking about the look, the Intex Aqua Trend gives mixed experience. It is not as bad to look forward, but it looks very cheap due to the default backkavar. The good thing is that you can make the look a little stylish by using a flip cover that comes with the handset. The handset is equipped with accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. Capacitive buttons remain at the bottom. It has a 5 -inch IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The color reproduction is not extremely spectacular, it is also seen in the lack of lack. However, the level of brightness is excellent. There is not much difficulty in reading on screen even in sunlight. There is no protection from scratch on the display, which is usually seen in this price segment phone.
Power and volume buttons are on the left side. The rear part has a 13 -megapixel camera sensor, LED flash unit and speaker grille. The headphone socket is at the top and the micro-USB port at the bottom.
The thickness of the Intex Aqua Trend is 8.9 inches and weighs 152 grams. Charger, data cable, headset, flip cover and screen guards will be present in the box. This phone is available in black, champagne, gray and silver color variants.
Specification and software
Quad-core MediaTek MT 6735 chipset and 2 GB of RAM are working to power the phone. Integrated Mali-T720 GPU is present for graphics. Intex Aqua Trend is a dual-sim phone and both support 4G. Its inbuilt storage is 16 GB which can be increased through microSD cards up to 32 GB.
The Android 5.1 operating system in the Intex Aqua Trend is slightly customized, but it is mostly limited to icons and motion gestures. By using MediaTek’s Honatut feature, you will be able to transfer the file with another smartphone equipped with this feature.
Performance
The phone does not have difficulty in running most apps and games. However, while playing 3D games, the phone thema surely falls. By the way, we did not have any problem in playing high-end graphics game Espelt 8 on Intex Aqua Trend.
Call quality is fine. We did not even face the problem of call drop during use. Notifications are easily known, but the quality of the speaker could have been better. The headset songs that come with the handset are not worth listening to.
Quad-core chipset easily played our test video. Despite the continuous use, the phone never heated up to the problem. Intex Aqua Trend Cabbonmark results were not spectacular, but usually the results of such specification handsets are similar.
The 13-megapixel camera present in it takes a fine landscape and macro shot in good light. Autofocus works faster, although it slows down in low light. The camera app is very simple. Photos taken from the rear and front camera are of extremely average level. You can shoot 1080 pixels videos from the rear camera and 480 pixels from the front camera.
We hoped that the Intex Aqua Trend would manage to hide the rest of the shortcomings from its performance in the battery department. But this did not happen. The 3000 mAh battery video loop test lasted for just 9 hours 11 minutes which is less than the average. It will last for a day in common use.
Our decision
Nothing in the Intex Aqua trend is excellent. Despite being priced at Rs 9,700, it looks very expensive. You will get more beautiful and better feature -equipped handsets at the same price. Asus Zenfone 2 laser and Lenvo’s 3 notes are better options for you.
The phone has several drawbacks including simple display, average camera and battery performance. The reality is that the handset is very weighty and thick. Talking about the features of the phone, both of them support SIM slots 4G. Overall, we will suggest that if you do not buy this phone, then nothing special is missing.
