Boeing Starliner in space was successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS) yesterday. Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams was the pilot of this spacecraft, who created history by becoming the first woman to fly a crewed spacecraft. He is accompanied by NASA astronaut Butch Wilmore, who is also the mission commander. On Thursday, the Boeing Starliner successfully docked with the ISS. However, there was a delay of 1 hour in this process, because due to technical flaw, the news of minor helium leak in the spacecraft was given by NASA.

59-year-old Sunita Williams managed to reach the space station as a female pilot for the first time. Earlier, Sunita Williams had also taken the idol of Lord Ganesha and Bhagwat Geeta with her to the space station. Sunita Williams has gone to space for the third time. On reaching the space station, the crew members already present gave him a warm welcome. Whose video has been shared by Boeing Space on its X handle.

Sunita Williams looks very happy after reaching the space station. Expressing his happiness, he also danced a little there. He also hugged the 7 crew members already present on the ISS. Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore were welcomed in a special manner, which is also said to be an old tradition of the International Space Station. The crew welcomed them by ringing a bell under it. Sunita addressed the crew members as her second family. He also thanked the crew for the warm welcome extended to him.

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are the first astronauts to board the Starliner. They successfully docked the spacecraft with the ISS and completed their 26-hour journey. Due to technical glitches, it took 1 hour more time, otherwise the estimated time for the journey was 25 hours.

The mission was launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Earlier, Space X’s Crew Dragon capsule was the only spacecraft that used to send astronauts to the Space Station (ISS) for NASA. Starliner is its competitor. This spacecraft has been named Calypso which has been developed by Boeing. It faced many obstacles before it took off. But on Wednesday it finally took its first flight. Under the mission, both crew members will spend a week on the ISS. After that, we will again board the Starliner to return on June 14.
