The specialty of this lake is that it keeps changing its color according to the season. In the picture, the water of the lake appears to be green in color, while the snow also appears to be in all light colors.

According to NASA, this image was captured by someone from the crew of Expedition 70. It is reported that the image was taken with a Nikon D5 digital camera on January 25, 2024.
