Snow -linked study melted in Greenland Nature Journal Has been published in Scientists knew that snow was melting in Greenland, but its rate would be so high, the vaginics did not know. This study is going to worry because the melting of ice will increase the level of the sea, which is not a good news for cities situated along the coast.
The prominent writer of the study is NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Glachiologist Chad Green. He says that almost every glacier in Greenland is slipping. He expressed concern that this is happening everywhere in Greenlander. The Guardian report said that scientists used AI method and announced 38 years of data to reach their conclusion.
Scientists came to know that the snow sheet in Greenland has been over 5,000 square kilometers in Greenland since 1985, which is equal to a trillion ton ice. It was earlier said that since 2003, the snow in Greenland is ending 221 billion tonnes every year, but now it is learned that it is melting 43 billion tonnes annually. These figures are really shocking.
