The US space agency NASA started growing flowers in the Space in 2015. Its results are visible. NASA has released a picture of Jinnia plant.

The Space Agency shared the picture on its social media platforms and wrote that Jinnia has been grown in the vesti facility of the International Space Station. Scientists have been studying plants in space since the 1970s. However, this experiment was started in the year 2015. NASA astronaut Kejel Lindgrain had grown ginnia at the International Space Station.

On this success, NASA wrote that our space garden is not just to show. It explains how plants grow in orbit. Learning from this experiment will help us how the crop is grown outside the earth. This will work in the Moon, Mars and the missions beyond.
