Those who called from the Upper identified themselves as bank officials. The person is told that if his account is not updated right now, it will be considered canceled. Then they send a link to download an app on WhatsApp, the danger is to download this app. Immediately, all the money was withdrawn from his account in 20 separate transctions. The person is gone.
This problem occurred because of the malware
Now such an event has become very familiar. The fraudsters sent links to the Vuo app via WhatsApp or SMS and downloaded it (Fatboypanel Malware) and stole all the information and looted the money. Now the market is practicing a new mobile app that is actually malware. Its name is Fatboypanel. This malware or harmful software actually enters any system and disrupts him and steals all the information. Various viruses, such as Trojan, worm, spyware, ransomware, etc.

A mobile security agency Zimperium recently reported on the malware on their blog. There, the company said that the fatboypannell is a new banking Trojan that originally targeted Indian users. Nico Chiaravigli, the chief scientist of the company, said that the malware was found in more than 5 apps.
How does this malware work
The attack took place through social engineering. In WhatsApp, the fraudsters send the link to download an app by identifying their bank officials or any government official. Whenever the user installs that app on his phone, the malware takes control of his mobile. This app then steals the OTP, with fake transactions. According to cyber experts, this fatboypanel can actually hijack a mobile-first malware, that is, in real time session, your phone can also hijack. The Indian banking apps are made by targeting it.
