Chinese smartphones cannot be trusted when it comes to security. So, Indian buyers should be more aware before buying a mobile or smartphone made by a Chinese company! In fact, this message was given by JB Park, the CEO of the South-West Asia branch of Samsung, a South Korean smartphone manufacturer.
According to a report published in the Economic Times, Park spoke to Indian media representatives at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in San Jose, USA. At that time, he directly targeted Chinese smartphone manufacturers.
The Samsung boss questioned the credibility of the Chinese companies concerned. His clear message is, when smartphone users in India use any AI (artificial intelligence) application over the internet on those smartphones, can those Chinese smartphones be fully trusted at all?
JB Park’s Message to Indian Consumers Before Indian consumers store their personal and confidential information on their smartphones, they should think very carefully about which company’s smartphone they can fully trust.
According to information, various Chinese smartphone manufacturers are giving tough competition to Samsung in the Indian market. In this case, Park’s point is that it is true that those companies in China have started using artificial intelligence. But, his question – is the use of this advanced technology reliable at all in terms of privacy and security?
Park also acknowledges that not all business challenges his company is able to overcome, or that his company is ahead of the rest. But, Samsung is still able to meet the diverse needs and demands of Indian consumers. Samsung is fulfilling this demand through their various products and in that the role of artificial intelligence is very important.
He compared the current state of AI technology to the advent of the Internet. According to him, this technology will be more advanced and improved in the coming days.
Samsung wants to reach more rural areas of the country to increase the number of customers. Park said the company’s number of service centers in rural areas will be almost doubled (800) before the end of 2025.
The aim of this plan is to ensure that customers can get the best and most advanced smartphone services from the very front. And in this case too, Samsung authorities are giving extra importance to AI technology, said JB Park.
