Online Scam: Cheating is increasing through WhatsApp. Not just financial fraud, users are victims of different types of scams through WhatsApp. Hackers and fraudsters are easily reaching me nowadays-your WhatsApp account. And this time the central government has become more prompt in this fraud. The Government of India is seeking to pull the digital frod and cyber -thrust with WhatsApp. Meta’s safety campaign ‘Scam she lives’. It is under his telecommunication department, the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) and WhatsApp, will work together to reduce online fraud.
DOT and WhatsApp work together and first will teach users to recognize which digital fraud. How users will understand that it is part of the online scam and will report it immediately, it will also be taught. That is, for him not to be cheated by a citizen through online, he should be well aware of that problem first. At the primary level DOT and WhatsApp will teach that. Then a user will understand which one is trapped online cheating and how he can be safe without foot. And there is a workshop system for this teaching.
The Government of India has an initiative of ‘Sanchar Saathi’. This is given to mobile users safety messages. WhatsApp is about to emphasize this DOT initiative. This instant messaging app of Meta is trying to further expand the initiative of ‘Sanchar Saathi’ through them, which will benefit the common people. They can learn different types of protection by avoiding the trap of cheating through digital. WhatsApp authorities will also work together with the DOT’s Digital Intelligence Unit. According to the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), ordinary people need to know what they can look at and what they can do to stay safe. Then everyone will be safe through digital.
Working with the Telecommunications Ministry will create a little database by which users will be taught how they will identify online fraud and report on it. The local language also contains various information made for the safety of the users. Information can be found in these languages- Hindi, Bangla, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati. As a result, a lot of people can use it and avoid the trap of online fraud.
