Asteroid burns sky of Russia people stayed awake till midnight video

The European Space Agency (ESA) says that the asteroid that entered the Earth’s atmosphere was 70 centimeters (27.5 inches) in diameter. It was discovered about 12 hours before it became visible in the sky. The agency had told that it is not going to hit the Earth. However, it appeared as a nice fireball in the sky of northern Siberia.

The burnt asteroid has been temporarily named Asteroid C0WEPC5, which entered the sky at around 1.15 pm local time. People living in Yakutia have shared pictures related to the asteroid on their social media handles. A burning asteroid can be seen in a video. He looked like a ball of fire.

Regarding the asteroid, Yakutia’s Emergency Ministry said that it had put all bodies on alert. No damage has been reported so far after the asteroid crash. The report said that people in Olekminsk and Lensk districts also saw burning objects in the night sky.

NASA gave the credit for the discovery of this asteroid to the Bok Telescope of the University of Arizona. The US Space Agency had reported that a very small asteroid would impact the Earth’s atmosphere and burn.
