Mobile Earthquake Alert: If you have Android Mobile, you will get this benefit. Some researchers have recently recovered such a technology. Warning will come to your mobile before the earthquake alert to save lives. Find out how this is possible.

This Alart system was created before
In 2021, Google introduced a special technology called Android Earthquake Alert (AEA), which was created to warn smartphone users living in the earthquake -prone region. Now scientists say that this new technology is proven to be much cheaper and effective than the traditional and expensive earthquake warning system. The most special feature is that it does not require any special seismic station to work.

This system is in 5 countries
This system is currently active on Android smartphones in 5 countries. So far around 2.5 billion people have covered people. Surprisingly, the foundation of this system is not a high -tech sensor, but millions of smartphones spread around the world that feel the vibration and send information to Google’s server.

How will be possible
According to a recently published study in the Journal of Science, this Android-based system is as effective as the traditional national earthquake network. Researchers say that the acceleometers (which measure the vibration) on mobile phones are not too sensitive, but their number is so high that they can catch the smallest vibration.

In some countries this earthquake has been recorded
Between 2021 and 2021, the system recorded an average of 12 earthquakes in 5 countries, with magnitude 5 to 1.5. Surprisingly, 5% of the people who were cautious through this system also felt vibration. About 5% of people were cautious before the earthquake began, where 20% was cautioned during the vibration and got alert after 20% vibration.

Demo has been shown in Turkey
A video demo shows how the Turkey’s hit was already detected on human phones during the magnitude 6.2 earthquake. The yellow and red circles identified the location of the P-wave and S-wave.

In which technology does it work?
According to Google, this system detects vibration with the acceleometer sensor present on the smartphone. When many phones in an area feel at the same time, they send data to Google’s server. The server combines this data and decides whether the earthquake is taking place. If this is confirmed, a warning is immediately sent to all Android users present. Today, this system has become the world’s largest earthquake alert network, where more than two billion Android devices operate as a mini-aartart center.
