This park is known to preserve evidence associated with dinosaurs. Recent footprints were hidden under the soil, water and mud of the Polyxi River. These came out when the river drainage went very low in summer. The team of Volunteers has seen 75 such new footprints so far there.
From local media Conversation The park’s superintendent Jeff Davis told that the heat was more this year than the rest of the years. The rain reduced, due to which the river drainage was very less. Researchers took advantage of the opportunity and filtered the entire area.
Park officials believe that the footprints that have been discovered may belong to two different types of dinosaurs. First- which was about 15 feet long. Was a non -vegetarian and had about 6350 kg in weight. Dinosaur had three claw legs.
Second- Sorropocidon protles can be dinosaurs. He was more giant than non -vegetarian dinosaurs. His length is considered up to 100 feet and weighs about 40 thousand kg. It is estimated that the bulbanuma footprints found in the area are from the same dinosaurs.
Experts believe that the soil was smooth when dinosaurs used to roam in this area of Texas. Gradually the soil was strict and turned into limestone. Due to this, the footprints of the dinosaurs were printed and preserved.
