Flying taxi is coming! You will reach the destination at a lower cost than the aircraft. Avoid all traffic congestion and fly to the workplace! It sounds like a dream, but it is about to become a reality. A man named Chava Abhiram in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, is making an air taxi that can help travel quickly to our city’s traffic congestion.
At 28, Chava Abhiram started a flying taxi company called Magnum Wings. His goal was to reduce traffic congestion in the cities by making taxis that could fly like a plane. These aircraft taxis will make the transport faster and extremely easy.
Magnum Wings have already tried a two -seat air taxi called Vitu (V2). This flying taxi can rise at a speed of 5 km/h and fly at a height of 5 feet. However, it can travel only 5 km as the fuel flower tank is not sufficient. In fact, this flying taxi is suitable for a short distance trip, such as there is no alternative to visiting the city. However, the only problem will fly without a pilot. Although its successful trial, the taxi without this pilot is reluctant to fly the Civil Aviation Department (DGCA).
So now Magnum Wings are also making a three-seat model of X-1 to follow the rules. So that a pilot can also be present with the passengers. X-1 can exceed a lot of distance-up to 5 km. It can even fly at a maximum speed of 5 km/h at a height of 20 feet. This model is designed for a long trip.
Battery driven taxi and environmentally friendly
Vitu and X-1 aircraft taxis will run on batteries, which will make them environmentally friendly and cheap for maintenance. Using electricity instead of fuel, these taxis will also help reduce pollution in cities.
Taxi
In India, countries like Bengaluru and Chennai, countries like China are also working with air taxis. However, some rules and policies still need to be made before using regular aircraft taxis. Once the Government of India has prepared these policies, air taxis will become part of regular transportation like cars or buses.
Contextually, Magnum Wings are not just making aircraft taxi for business, they have also planned to sell these flying vehicles to people who want to own it as a private jet. Other companies, such as Sarala Aviation and Hyundai, are making flying taxis. These taxis will make the transport faster and more convenient.
