In the International Space Station (ISS), every astronaut does not get the opportunity of spacewalk. Such incidents become more rare, when the spacewalk is fully done by women. According to Indian time, from 5.35 pm today, the US space agency NASA’s 2 female astronauts will walk in space. Both passengers will get out of ISS for maintenance work. The special thing is that this year 12 spacewalks have been done on ISS, but there have been only 3 spacewalks in the history of ISS which were completed by women astronauts.

NASA Blog It has been told that astronauts- ‘Jasmine Moghebeli’ and ‘Loral O Hara’ will do spacewalk on ISS today. It will start from 5:35 pm Indian time. This will be a maintenance work, including the maintenance of radio communication gear and the exchange of hardware.

It is estimated that this spacewalk will last for 7 hours. Jasmine Moghebeli and Loral O Hara are part of the Expedition 70 at the space station. This team reached ISS on 27 September.
