Apple Lawsuit: A case has been filed against the technology company Apple for cheating. There have been allegations that the company’s AI chatbot technology Siri secretly recorded users’ private conversations. And Apple wants to settle the case on this charge of cheating (Apple Lawsuit) and the organization will have to pay a fine of 815 crores for him. Even from this penalty money, it is believed that up to 1700 rupees will be deposited in the accounts of thousands of iPhone users. Siri has been accused of listening to users’ conversations and giving it to third-party advertisers to display ads on phones. However, Apple has denied this allegation.

The case was filed in 2021

This case (Apple Lawsuit) was filed against Apple in September 2021. The prosecution of this case began in February 2021. However, the case was dismissed due to lack of sufficient evidence. After that, a new case was filed. Many complained that Apple was recording their conversations, even when they accidentally activated the voice assistant Siri. A complainant said that he was talking to a doctor friend about the surgery, after which his phone started showing ads related to it.

Apple has denied the allegations

Since this lawsuit filed in 2021, Apple (Apple Lawsuit) has continuously denied all these allegations. But the company has not submitted any evidence to prove its innocence.

Apple will settle the case for 815 crore rupees

After more than 3 years, Apple has now agreed to settle the case. The company will now pay Rs 815 crore to the affected users. From September 17, 2014 to December 31, 2024, Apple will compensate users who recorded conversations up to a maximum of Rs 1,700. Apple still denies the allegations and is pushing to settle the case.
