Why are schools closed
According to media reports, all schools in the solar eclipse affected states of America will be closed on April 8. The main reason for this is the darkness during the eclipse. There will be darkness for more than 7 minutes after the total solar eclipse. In such a situation, in view of security measures, orders have been given to keep schools closed.
Schools will remain closed in these states
On the day of total solar eclipse, all schools in America’s Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New Hampshire and Maine will be closed.
The total solar eclipse will begin from the southern Pacific Ocean. It will pass through North America and Mexico and reach Canada. It will also be partially visible in countries like Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, French Polynesia and Jamaica. This solar eclipse will not be visible in India because it will be night here.
Solar eclipse is a situation when the Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth. Due to this, the image of the Sun is covered behind the Moon for some time, this is called solar eclipse. At the same time, in a lunar eclipse, the Moon comes into its shadow just behind the Earth.
