Surya Grahan 2024: On Monday, April 8, the world saw the first solar eclipse of the year 2024. A total solar eclipse was seen in many areas of America, Mexico and Canada. Astronomers and common people around the world, including India, watched this event live online. Pictures of the eclipse have surfaced. The most special view among these has been captured from the International Space Station (ISS) circling the Earth 400 kilometers above the Earth.

In the video taken from ISS, a part of the Earth can be seen in black color. This sight is surprising people. While sharing the video on its social handle, the ISS account has written that the crew of Expedition-71, while circling the Earth, reached the shadow of the Moon during the solar eclipse on Monday afternoon.

When this video was made from the ISS, it was in the path of the solar eclipse over southeastern Canada. The black patch visible above the Earth in the video is the area affected by the eclipse, while the area seen in blue is not affected by the eclipse. This video was posted a few hours ago. Till now lakhs of people have seen and liked it.
