The US agency National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says that due to the latest flare, no geomagnetic storm or aurora will be visible on Earth.
This one deserves a close up!

It’s all the result of a sunspot named AR3664. Solar flares have been emanating from it for the past several days. On May 10, a solar flare of X5.8 category was emitted from this sunspot. On Tuesday, 3 X category solar flares came out one after the other from this sunspot. Among these, X8.7 is the most powerful. It is said that no flare more powerful than this has occurred in the Sun’s 11-year solar cycle.
American space agency NASA has already said that there is a possibility of frequent solar explosions in the Sun. These explosions will continue till the year 2025. Due to this, satellites and astronauts may be affected. This is Solar Cycle 25, which started in December 2019.
what are solar flares
Solar flares are created by the light and particles emitted when the Sun releases magnetic energy. These flares are the most powerful explosions ever seen in our solar system, releasing energy and yielding an impact comparable to billions of hydrogen bombs.
