If you’re interested in events in the sky, any time between now and September you may be able to see something that happens once in 79 years. Actually, a star is about to explode! American space agency NASA says that when the explosion occurs, a glow will be seen in the sky, which can surprise astronomers. This explosion can happen any time from now till the month of September. The place where the explosion will take place is 3 thousand light years away from the Earth. The last eruption took place in the year 1946.

In the previous report, we told you that this explosion will take place in a star system named Nova. The explosion can be so large that it can probably be seen with the naked eye. The Nova Star System is in the Corona Borealis constellation in our universe.

Bill Cook, head of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office (MEO), spoke to Fox News about the possible explosion and said that scientists do not know much about its timing. However, he claimed that whenever it happens, it will be something you will remember.

The star which is about to explode is bound to a binary system. In such a system there is a giant star and a white dwarf star. In the current case, the larger star is dumping its material onto the surface of the white dwarf as the two orbit very close to each other.

The temperature of the dwarf star is increasing due to material dumping. According to the report, when this happens, thermonuclear explosion will start in it. Eventually it will blow all that material into space and become much brighter, hundreds of times brighter than before. Scientists think that the changes in the sky at the time of the explosion may be visible even with the naked eye.

The special thing is that the Nova Tara system does not blow away its material at once, it does this every 79 years.
