To clear data already collected, tap on ‘Significant Locations’, then press “Clear History”, and finally toggle the feature off.
Where are you within 10 km..
Apart from the system service or services, every app that has permission to use location has a “Precise Location” toggle or switch. You’ll find it—Settings > Privacy and Security > Location Services—and finally under the specific app’s name. Turning it off means the app will only get an approximate area of 10km instead of your exact GPS location.
Turn this option off
To prevent apps from sending you requests to track your movements through other apps and websites for advertising purposes, go to—Settings > Privacy and Security > Tracking—and turn off the “Allow Apps to Request to Track” option.
Remember: Look for the arrow icon in your status bar. A solid arrow indicates that an app is actively using your location at that moment. On the other hand, a hollow arrow indicates that the app recently used your location information.

Ask for your permission each time
For individual apps, go to Settings, Privacy, Permission Manager, and then Location. This screen shows all the apps that have location access. Apps that are listed as “Allow all the time” should be changed to “Only while using the app” or “Ask every time”.
These must be paused
Just turning off location history isn’t enough to stop Google from tracking your location. You’ll also need to pause web and app activity, which logs location-tagged search and app usage information. Go to myaccount.google.com, then Data & Privacy, then Web & App Activity and pause it from there.
